What is the password to open my tax return?

To protect your privacy, and to prevent unauthorized access to your sensitive tax return information, we encrypt every tax return with a password that is required to open it. The password format is your full social security number + the city you provided to complete your taxes + the zip code for the address you provided. No upper cases, no dashes, no spaces.

If for some reason you are unable to access your tax return with this password format, please reach out to us. We can print the return for you and allow you to pick it up, or we can mail it to you at the address on your return for an additional fee.
