PAY BY REFUND
We do offer our clients the ability to pay their tax preparation fees by using their refund. We partner with Refund Advantage, also known as Path Forward. This option is available to all clients with an anticipated tax refund.
FEES
There are fees associated with using Refund Advantage. We do not control these fees, nor do we gain any profit from you using this service.
- TRANSFER FEE. The first transfer fee is $40, subsequent transfers are $14. If you file federal and one state, the total fee will be $54. If you file more than 2, the subsequent fee for each transfer is $14.
- TECHNOLOGY FEE. Refund Advantage charges a $19.95 technology fee for using their services.
These fees are deducted from your refund amount before they are transferred to your bank account.
KLARNA
We also partner with Klarna, where you have the ability to split the payments. Depending on your credit situation, you may be able to break your tax preparation fees down into 4 installments, pay later (30 days) or finance your preparation fees over a longer period of time. We recommend this option because it is the lowest cost option to pay your tax preparation fees.
- FEES. Damian Fields does not charge any fees to use Klarna as payment. Klarna my charge fees for using their service, which will be disclosed to you. Any finance charge below $74 is saving you money at the end of the day.
